Under the HiPath Architecture, HiPath 3000 protects investment in existing platforms, workpoints and applications by offering an easy and affordable migration upgrade path.

This clear evolutionary path to IP, lets customers move at their own pace into the IP market place and provides them with the reassurance that the outlay made in an existing Siemens platform is protected and they have a future-proof investment.

The HiPath 3000 range is the most highly featured application platform available in this segment today. It features integrated VoIP support, DECT mobility, integrated Voice Messaging, an onboard free of charge, ECMA CSTA port, which integrates with Swan's Callview product range, and Siemens Attendant P, windows based Operators Console. Nobody in the marketplace today can match this product set and the price is ultra competitive.

The HiPath 3000 range also enhances staff mobility. It provides a flexible and universal cordless solution at all configuration levels that supports network-wide roaming for up to 16 nodes and handover across the entire range. HiPath Cordless will enable SME businesses to grow in areas where traditional telephones can not be used, for example production areas and warehouses.

Cordless is available on all 3000 platforms, which can support up to 250 cordless handsets and 64 base stations.

The range supports both traditional and IP based workpoints and soft clients, including the HiPath optiPoint 400 IP handset that offers access from within the LAN to all the features and functions of the HiPath 3000. This highly featured IP handset includes a 2 port 10/100 Auto sensing switch, so offers one wire direct to the desktop and supports power over the LAN.
